Police arrest two, find drugs, paraphernalia
Vehicle observed leaving business without headlights on

DESLOGE — Two individuals were arrested Thursday after police observed them driving a vehicle without its headlights on. The incident occurred at 12:15 a.m. at the Desloge 7-Eleven. Desloge Police Chief James Bullock said Officer Brad Judge responded to the gas station in reference to two people, possibly intoxicated, who were leaving the 7-Eleven.
“We he arrived he saw the vehicle leave 7-Eleven without its lights on,” Bullock said. “He pulled the vehicle over and discovered the female driver had a suspended driver’s license.”
Bullock said Judge requested and was granted consent to search the vehicle. During the search he found a syringe with a clear liquid that is believed to be heroin.
“He also found drug paraphernalia on the driver,” the chief said. He also found drug paraphernalia on the male passenger.”
The driver is described as a 26-year-old Desloge woman. She is facing probable charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia, careless and imprudent driving, driving while intoxicated by drugs, driving while revoked and driving without head lamps.
The passenger is described as a 28-year-old Park Hills man. He is facing probable charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.
In an unrelated arrest on Saturday, a 20-year-old Bismarck man was arrested for possession of marijuana and driving while intoxicated. The incident occurred at 1:47 a.m. Bullock said Officer Thomas Ward observing the vehicle driving in a careless and imprudent manner and pulled it over.
“When he pulled the vehicle over he determined that the driver was intoxicated and discovered marijuana and other paraphernalia,” Bullock said.
The man is facing possible charges of driving while intoxicated, careless and imprudent driving, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.
